Dan's SimpleCalc. Dan's SimpleCalc is a calculator designed to be much simplier than the calculator that comes bundled with Windows, but also much more practical and functional. In operation, it most closely resembles an old-fashioned adding machine. Most importantly, it has an optional "tape" display allowing you to audit the numbers you've entered and make corrections. It also will optionally print the tape display to allow a hard-copy record of what you've entered.

Operation of the calculator is very simple and straightforward. Simply enter the number, and terminate with either a + sign, a - sign, a / sign (divide), or a * sign (multiply). In the case of divide or multiply, the last number entered is used as a divisor or multiplicand, exactly like an adding machine.

Press the = sign while the entry field is empty to display a total on the tape (hidden or not). The print function prints the current contents of the page.

The Help/About menu selection contains a brief but complete explanation of operations, and can be printed as well. Please use the Help function before writing with questions about Dan's SimpleCalc.
